City police stations, NGOs, mayor’s offices, companies, etc. are supporting and encouraging parents and families to prepare TP cards of their children.
By today, TP card preparation became almost a movement in the United States. It is regrettable, but the USA is a “leader” in child loss statistics, both in absolute numbers and in proportions. Average number of (reported) missing-child cases exceed annually 800 thousand cases.
The European Union can “boast of” the loss of 250,000 children. These numbers are serious also because they are resulted by a dramatic increase of the last 8 years. To take Ireland as an example, this number is almost tripled during 8 years (between 2001 and 2009 it increased from 2,900 to 8,400).
